Американська газета The Washington Post випадково опублікувала телефонний номер глави Пентагону Джеймса Меттіса.

Увагу видання на це звернув їхній читач, пише Новое время.

«Нам зателефонував читач на ім'я Пол Редмонд і повідомив, що The [Washington] Post випадково опублікував особистий номер мобільного телефону міністра оборони Джима Меттіса», - пише видання.

За словами американця, який зателефонував у редакцію, на одному з опублікованих виданням знімків був зображений охоронець, який ніс папку з паперами, на яких можна було розрізнити ім'я Меттіса і номер телефону.

Журналіст WP подзвонив за номером, що «засвітився», і підтвердив, що телефон таки належить главі Пентагону.

«Я дзвонив. Я отримав голосове повідомлення. Це був він», - зазначив співробітник видання.

У газеті назвали удачею, що читач з Каліфорнії побачив номер телефону «раніше за росіян» і вчасно зателефонував у редакцію.
