Австралійський тенісист Нік Кірьос двічі змусив говорити про себе після перемоги у першому колі US Open-2019.

Кірьос переміг американця Стіва Джонсона з рахунком 6:3, 7:6, 6:4, а після гри роздавав фанатам рушники. Одним із них Нік витер піт, пахви, між ногами, висякався у нього і жбурнув у натовп. 

А на прес-конференції австралійця попросили прокоментувати штраф, накладений на нього на турнірі в Цинциннаті після гри з Кареном Хачановим (113 тисяч доларів).

"ATP досить корумпована, але мене це мало турбує. Чому ми говоримо про те, що було 3 тижні тому, а не про те, що я обіграв когось на US Open?", - сказав тенісист.

Тепер керівництво ATP вимагає від Кірьоса пояснень і має намір дискваліфікувати гравця, повідомляє West Australian.

Додамо, що у другому колі Нік зіграє з французом Антуаном Хоаном.
