Відомий британський боксер Карл Фроч, який є колишнім чемпіоном світу з боксу, у другій середній вазі (до 76,2 кг) заявив, що не згоден із усталеною думкою і вважає планету Землю пласкою. Фроча не переконують фото з космосу, які регулярно публікує NASA.

"Земля пласка, сто відсотків. Немає ніяких доказів викривлення Землі. Дивлюся на фото і думаю: стривайте, це схоже на мультики. Ось коли хтось відкриє чартерні рейси і можна буде подивитися на Землю і побачити, як вона виглядає, я повірю, що Земля кругла", - зізнався боксер.

Карл Фроч завершив спортивну кар'єру у 2014-му році, був багаторазовим чемпіоном світу за версіями WBC (Всесвітня боксерська рада), IBF (Міжнародна боксерська федерація) i WBA (Всесвітня боксерська асоціація).
