Во время рассказа о погодных условиях Хэммонд передвигалась по плавучему макету Великобритании, расположенному в порту Ливерпуля. Чтобы осветить ситуацию в Северной Ирландии, ей было необходимо «перешагнуть» с одного острова на другой. На помощь ведущей пришли два ассистента. Не удержавшись на ногах, Хэммонд случайно столкнула одного из них в реку Мерси.

«О боже! С вами все хорошо?! Мне так жаль!» — закричала репортер. Находящиеся на прямой связи с Ливерпулем ведущие в студии также испугались произошедшего в эфире, однако их ужас быстро сменился смехом.

Когда ассистент выбрался из воды, Хэммонд обняла его и извинилась.

«В Северной Ирландии будет немного мокро, как вы можете видеть. Очень мокро!» — пошутила она, показав на помощника.

После инцидента Хэммонд быстро перебралась на соседний макет и закончила прогноз погоды.

Также, ранее, украинская телеведущая Ольга Фреймут во время съемок своего шоу «Оля» получила травму. На видео показано, как Ольгу Фреймут и гостью выпуска, певицу TAYANNA раскручивают на карусели. Из-за высокой скорости ведущая внезапно соскользнула со своего места и упала на пол.
