Российский политолог Александр Шатилов заявил, что убийство одного из лидеров боевиков самопровозглашенной ДНР Арсения Павлова (позывной "Моторола") может быть связано с попыткой украинских властей "выслужиться перед Вашингтоном" и тем самым увеличить рейтинг кандидата в президенты США от демократов Хиллари Клинтон.

"Здесь украинская сторона и стоящие за ней определённые силы в Вашингтоне хотят обострения ситуации, чтобы это сыграло на руку Клинтон", — заявил Шатилов, передает Апостроф со ссилкой на RT.
