69-летний гражданин Нидерландов Эмиль Рательбанд потребовал у суда города Арнем изменить его дату рождения с 11 марта 1949 года на 11 марта 1969 года. Об этом сообщает De Telegraaf.

"Можно изменить свое имя, свой пол. Так почему нельзя изменить свой возраст?" - задается вопросом пенсионер.

По словам Рательбанда, будь у него в паспорте другая дата рождения, вся его жизнь в корне изменилась бы. "Если я напишу в Тиндере, что мне 69, никто не откликнется. А когда мне 49 - у меня все козыри в руках", - говорит он.

Кроме того, пенсионер указал в иске и на другие проблемы, с которыми сталкиваются люди преклонного возраста. "Будучи 69-лет, я ограничен в возможностях, - убеждает Рательбанд, - а если мне будет на 20 лет меньше, у меня не возникнет вопросов с работой, домом и автомобилем".

Также Рательбанд оптимистично настроен в отношении отцовства. "Однажды мне сказали, что я снова должен стать отцом. Я засомневался. С другой стороны, суррогатное материнство решает многие проблемы", - рассуждает мужчина.

Со сообщениям СМИ, суд, вероятно, не удовлетворит иск Рательбанда, поскольку в Нидерландах нет правового механизма, который позволил бы человеку изменить свой возраст.
