В Литве председатель туристического департамента ушел в отставку после того, как в рекламной кампании этой страны появились фотографии из других стран.

Департамент туризма признал, что некоторые из фотографий, распространенных через соцсети, на самом деле сделаны в Финляндии и Словакии.

Фото сопровождались лозунгом "Настоящее - прекрасно" (The Real is the Beautiful).

"Я решил уйти с должности главы государственного департамента туризма", - сказал Юргита Казлаускине журналистам.

Отвечая на обвинения, департамент туризма и местные СМИ писали, что иностранные фотографии вполне "передают эмоции". Ответ тоже начали высмеивать онлайн.

По сообщениям, страница компании на Facebook использовала фотографии Shutterstock и сайта Flickr.

Литовские пользователи Facebook начали насмехаться над этой ошибкой, публикуя фотографии заграничных выдающихся мест и подписывая их на литовском языке с хеш-тегом #realisbeautiful.

К этим насмешкам присоединился даже премьер-министр Саулюс Сквернялис, распространив фотографию здания Еврокомиссии в Брюсселе.

"С завтрашнего дня мы начинаем работать в новом правительственном зданим в Каролинишкесе", - написал премьер.

Каролинишкес - это пригородный район Вильнюса.

В остальном, серьезном сообщении, премьер пообещал расследовать ошибку департамента.
