Alt News пише, що після захоплення Афганістану талібами основні індійські ЗМІ часто поширюють дезінформацію про Пакистан.
 

Індійські ЗМІ показали кадри з комп'ютерної гри «Arma-3», видавши їх за реальну битву військових Пакистану, на боці екстремістського угруповання «Талібан», в Афганістані. Про це повідомив індійський фактчекінговий проєкт Alt News. 

Джерелом відео став нібито Hasti TV. Натомість індійський телеканал Republic TV, показуючи кадри з гри, говорив про «ексклюзивне відео», що підтверджує «атаку військово-повітряні сил Пакистану на долину Панджшер». Пізніше Republic TV прибрав  трансляцію зі своїх соцмереж.

Це відео також поширили India Today, Times Now Navbharat, Zee News та TV9 Bharatvarsh. Останній канал вже не вперше видає відео з «Arma-3» за реальні кадри битв. Минулого року TV9 Bharatvarsh поширив з гри зображення МіГ-25, збитого Вірменією за допомогою системи протиповітряної оборони. 

 

Alt News пише, що після захоплення Афганістану талібами основні індійські ЗМІ часто поширюють дезінформацію про Пакистан. Зазначимо, між Індією та Пакистаном понад півстоліття ведеться боротьба за високогірний прикордонний регіон Кашмір. Також Пакистан звинувачують у підтримці угруповання «Талібан».
