Британський медіарегулятор Ofcom наклав штраф у розмірі 20 тисяч фунтів стерлінгів на зареєстровану в Сполученому Королівстві компанію Baltic Media Alliance Limited за порушення правил мовлення, допущені телеканалом "НТВ-Мир Балтия".
Як повідомляє "Європейська правда", про це йдеться в поширеній у понеділок заяві Ofcom.
2 квітня 2018 року Baltic Media Alliance Limited транслювала новинну програму Today, в якій обговорювалось питання отруєння Сергєя та Юлії Скрипалів у Солсбері в березні 2018 року.
Торік у лютому Ofcom встановив, що вказана програма не відповідала критеріям неупередженості та порушила низку правил Кодексу телекомунікаційного мовлення Ofcom.
У зв'язку з цим Ofcom наклав на Baltic Media Alliance Limited штраф в розмірі 20 тисяч фунтів стерлінгів та зобов'язав представити в ефірі виклад претензій Ofcom з приводу роботи каналу.
Компанії Baltic Media Alliance Limited належить ліцензія на здійснення мовлення "НТВ-Мир Балтия" в Європі.
