Науковці з України Іван Максимов та Андрій Потоцький здобули Іґнобелівську премію з фізики, яку називають Шнобелівською.

Фізики займалися дослідженням вібрації дощових черв'яків.

Науковці виявили, що вібрації змушують дощових черв’яків формувати візерунки аналогічні до тих, які формують краплі води у відповідь на вібрацію.

Максимов та Потоцький хочуть знайти прикладне застосування свого дослідження. Вони стверджують, що відкриття можна використовувати як неінвазивний метод вивчення імпульсів мозку. А також дослідження можна застосовувати в робототехніці для симуляції рухів черв’яків.

Зараз фізики працюють в Свінбернському університеті технологій в Мельбурні (Австралія).

Нагадаємо, Шнобелівська, або Ігнобелівська премія - це пародія на Нобелівську премію, яка кожного року вручається в Гарвардському університеті. Премію присуджують за досягненні, "які спочатку викликають сміх, а потім роздуми".

Раніше повідомлялося, що Лукашенку вдруге присудили "Шнобелівську премію".Разом з ним "нагородили" Путіна, Болсонару, Джонсона та керівників кількох інших країн.
