Згідно з представленою статистикою, в Україні запити BDSM-тематики на 23% популярніші, ніж в середньому по світу. За рівнем інтересу до «жесті» Україна відстає від Словаччини, але випереджає Південну Корею.

Найбільше BDSM-тематика хвилює жителів Гонконгу, Швейцарії та Німеччини. За даними Pornhub, темою BDSM більше цікавляться жінки, і «гуглять» її в середньому на 86% частіше, ніж чоловіки. Крім того, у порівнянні з чоловіками, жінки на 163% частіше шукають контент за запитом «гей-BDSM».
