Учитель из США Натан Маршалл (Nathan Marshall) запретил ученикам шестого класса проворачивать популярный трюк с переворачиванием бутылки с водой, а затем в течение полугода снимал ролик, в котором сам показывает этот фокус. На это обратило внимание издание Mashable.

Американец опубликовал на своем YouTube-канале нарезку из коротких видео, в которых он подбрасывает бутылки на кухне, в туалете, в школьном спортивном зале и других местах, демонстрируя ученикам, что это вполне простой фокус. Во всех случаях бутылки неизменно приземлялись в вертикальном положении.

Трюк с подбрасыванием бутылки с переворотом стал популярен среди пользователей сети в 2016 году. В интернете появилось огромное количество роликов с демонстрацией фокуса, а некоторые из-за засилья подобных видео поддержали флешмоб, призывающий остановить бесконечное переворачивание полупустой тары с водой.
