В окупованому Севастополі школярів зігнали на щорічний дитячий парад, присвячений "Дню піонерії".

Майже третина дітей, які взяли участь у параді, були вдягнені в армійську та флотську форми, а також у форму військ російського міністерства надзвичайних ситуацій. У деяких дітей у руках були автомати Калашникова (можливо, макети).

За школярами у військовому одязі йшли діти у звичайній шкільній формі, які несли інтелектуальну символіку та гасла. Парад замикали спортивні школи, станція юних техніків та дитячо-юнацькі клуби міста.

Парад почався близько 10:00 і тривав 45 хвилин. Після закінчення параду школярів на Приморському бульварі відбувся концерт, на який можна було потрапити, пройшовши через металошукачі та поліцейські патрулі.

19 травня у СРСР відзначали "День піонерії". В наш час у Росії в цей день у містах відбуваються заходи з цього приводу.
