У сербському містечку Банстолв завершується будівництво православного храму Марії Магдалини, який неофіційно присвячений президенту Росії Володимиру Путіну

Неофіційно церква присвячена російському президенту Володимиру Путіну. Це підтверджують місцеві жителі, які сподіваються, що він відвідає місто і присвячене йому спорудження під час візиту в країну.

Додамо, що візит Путіна до Сербії запланований на 17 січня.

Як повідомляв "Главред", спочатку планувалося побудувати дерев'яну церкву в пам'ять про жертви операції "Буря" в Сербії, однак Владиці Сремському Василю вдалося знайти пожертви на храм набагато більший за розміром.

Ініціатор будівництва церкви і член комітету з будівництва, житель Банстола Бранко Симонович заявив, що храм буде дуже схожий на російську церкву святителя Миколи Чудотворця в Софії, його площа складе близько 200 кв. метрів.

Симонович вважає, що "храм Путіна" допоможе розвитку території навколо Банстола.

"Путін - це світовий бренд, і я не бачу перешкод для того, щоб і у нас з'явилося щось присвячене йому. Зрештою , це могло б бути свого роду подарунком йому", - сказав він.

Всі необхідні кошти на будівництво ще не зібрані, але в Банстоле і в Сремської єпархії Сербської Православної Церкви сподіваються на відгук меценатів.
