На одному з роликів, які описує Саманта, борець з інфекцією затримує жінку, підозрюючи, що у неї коронавірус. Він починає перевірку, а далі - діє за знайомим сценарієм.

Також вона натрапила на ролик під назвою "Кадри від імені агента з контролю і профілактики захворювань, який обстежує занедбаний Ухань". Так, чоловік в захисному костюмі і протигазі прибирає покинуту лікарню, коли на нього нападає жінка в лікарняному халаті. Також журналістка знайшла відео, де люди займаються сексом у масках.

Офіційний представник одного з порносайтів вважає, що такий інтерес виникає через можливу любов до фільмів жахів і страшних історій. Автори деяких подібних роликів кажуть, що так вони навчають аудиторію.

Журналістка ж вважає, що автори фільмів для дорослих хочуть наживитися на ситуації.
