На одній з найбільш відвідуваних природних пам'яток Фінляндії туристів з Росії зустрічають під гімн України.

Про це пише AFP, повідомляє "Європейська правда".

Щодня підняття шлюзів майже столітньої дамби на річці Іматранкоскі поблизу міста Іматра зазвичай супроводжується звуками музики фінського композитора Яна Сібеліуса.

Сотні глядачів зазвичай збираються на мосту в місті Іматра, щоб спостерігати за водою, що протікає під дамбою. З кінця липня місто розпочинає шоу з виконання гімну України.

Також у сусідньому місті Лаппеенранта щовечора над ратушею, звідки відкривається вид на популярні серед російських туристів торгові центри, грає гімн України.

"Мета полягає в тому, щоб висловити рішучу підтримку Україні та засудити агресивну війну", — сказав мер Лаппеенранти Кіммо Ярва.

Зараз для багатьох росіян Фінляндія є воротами в Європу. Через війну проти України повітряний простір ЄС закритий для російських літаків. Однак, росіяни із візами можуть подолати сухопутний кордон і далі подорожувати по Європі.
