В одном из ведущих сайтов Украины, КНУ имени Шевченко, крайне оригинально перевели на английский язык биографию декана факультета информационных технологий Юрия Тесли, пишет Наш Киев.

Перевод биографии, который, по всей видимости, осуществлялся с украинского языка был опубликован на сайте факультета, местами напоминает бессвязный набор символов и вряд ли будет понятен человеку, говорящему на английском. 

Так, сам декан из "Тесли" превратился в "Теслу", а его отчество по ходу текста меняет написание с "Mykolajovych" на "Nikolaevich".

Но это еще полбеды. Часть слов в тексте, который задумывался как английский, по какой-то причине написана на украинском языке. А  определить языковую принадлежность некоторых других слов вообще не представляется возможным. В тексте встречаются такие шедевры как "ocholyuwaw", "kandidatska ta dokuska dissertatsii" или "folkdospodarkimi projects". 

По всей видимости, виной всему не очень удачный машинный перевод или отсутствие необходимых навыков у человека, отвечавшего за наполнение сайта. Подобных "неточностей" на англоязычной версии данного сайта хватает и других разделах.

Отметим, что на данный момент биография уже удалена с сайта, однако сохранилась в кэше Google.

В одном из ведущих сайтов Украины, КНУ имени Шевченко, крайне оригинально перевели на английский язык биографию декана факультета информационных технологий Юрия Тесли.
