Американский президент Дональд Трамп не пожал руку немецкому канцлеру Ангеле Меркель во время протокольной фотосъемки в Белом доме.

На видео слышно, как после криков фотографов и операторов "Вы пожмете руки?" Меркель и наклоняется к Трампу и спрашивает: "Вы хотите, чтобы мы пожали друг другу руки?"

Трамп в ответ молча смотрит перед собой.

Позже Президент США Дональд Трамп опубликовал на своей странице в Facebook фото рукопожатия с канцлером Германии Ангелой Меркель.

"Честь имею сегодня приветствовать канцлера Меркель в Белом доме. Наши две нации имеют много общего, и наш союз является символом силы для всего мира", - говорится в описании к фото.

Примечательно, во время встречи с японским премьер-министром Синдзо Абэ, Трамп жал ему руку целых 17 секунд. СМИ охарактеризовали рукопожатие американского лидера неловкими и дерзким.

После этого СМИ обратили внимание на манеру Трампа тянуть руку на себя во время приветствия. Vice News создали видеонарезку рукопожатий американского лидера.
