У Пхеньяні влаштували банкет із тортом у вигляді ракети та танцями під звуки винищувачі. На рідкісних кадрах із керманичем країни видно, що той сидить за столом, який також прикрашений моделями зброї.

Після застілля диктатор разом із дружиною та розробниками бомби пішли на святковий концерт, під час якого танцівниці виступали під відеоряд із військових навчань.

Як повідомлялось раніше, Північна Корея заявила, що провела перші випробування міжконтинентальної балістичної ракети. Але ця заява суперечить попереднім оцінками Південної Кореї і США, які свідчать, що ракета мала середній діапазон дальності. Раніше КНДР проводила запуски супутників, які, на думку експертів, були замаскованими випробуваннями ракет дальньої дії. Але пробний пуск міжконтинентальної балістичної ракети, якщо він підтвердиться, стане важливим кроком вперед у розробці ракет з ядерними боєголовками, які можуть дістатись і до США.
