Стивен Тайлер, лидер группы Aerosmith, потребовал не использовать песни группы на политических акциях Дональда Трампа.

Как сообщает The Guardian, песня "Livin’ on the Edge" звучала на акции в Чарльстоне (Западная Вирджиния) во вторник, передает LB.ua

В письме, адресованном офису Трампа, адвокаты отметили, что "Мистер Трамп создает ложное впечатление, что наш клиент дал согласие на использование своей музыки и что он поддерживает Трампа на посту президента".

"Мистер Трамп не имеет право использовать имя, образ или голос нашего клиента без его письменного разрешения", – говорится в письме.

Сам музыкант написал в твиттере: "Это не про [противостояние] демократов и республиканцев. Я не разрешаю использовать свои песни без разрешения. Моя музыка – не для политических кампаний и акций. Защита авторов песен – это то, за что я боролся еще до того, как появилась новая [президентская] администрация".

Издание отмечает, что Стивен Тайлер требует, чтобы Трамп не использовал его музыку, уже не впервые: в 2015 году песню "Dream On" использовали во время избирательной кампании Трампа – также без согласия музыканта. Трамп тогда написал в твиттере, что благодаря звучию песни во время кампании, Стивен Тайлер получил больше рекламы своей песне, чем за 10 предыдущих лет, и отметил, что у него были права на использование композиции.
