За словами донецького журналіста Дениса Казанського, суддя, який виніс вирок Сергію Стерненку, був відомим сталіністом у Донецьку до 2014 року

"Виявляється, Сергія Стерненка судив суддя Віктор Попревич з Донецька, який ще до війни був добре відомий на все місто тим, що встановив біля воріт власної садиби бюсти Леніна і Сталіна. Треба ж, я думав він давно на пенсії або в Росії", - зазначив Казанський.

"Мабуть, ніхто інший виконувати замовлення ОПЗЖ і Портнова не погодився. Тому-то і перенесли засідання на 23 лютого. Спеціально захотіли поглумитися", - додав він.
