На помощника главного тренера женской сборной России по волейболу итальянца Серджио Бузато Федерация волейбола Южной Кореи (KVA) намерена подать жалобу за яркое проявление расизма, сообщает xsport.ua.

После победы россиянок в матче против Южной Кореи в квалификационном турнире к Олимпиаде-2020, итальянец стал изображать узкие глаза, смеясь над оппонентами.

Этот жест возмутил корейских волейболисток. Сейчас KVA намерена отправить жалобу на специалиста в Международную федерацию волейбола.

В свою очередь, Бузато заявил, что не хотел никого оскорбить своим жестом, и вообще, он просто праздновал победу.

"Я не хотел никого обидеть. Я очень удивлен, что мой жест посчитали оскорбительным. Я просто праздновал выход на Олимпиаду, которая пройдет в Японии. В тот момент я ни в коем случае не обращался к команде Южной Кореи. Не понимаю, почему мой жест называют расистским. В тот момент мы все радовались на площадке, я тоже радовался и таким образом отпраздновал наше попадание в Токио", - цитирует итальянского специалиста издание.
