Олександра Хичій, президентка Конгресу українців Канади, вважає, що пропаганда РФ активно готується до парламентських виборів у Канаді, які відбудуться 21 жовтня.
 

Про це вона сказала в інтерв’ю «Укрінформу». Пані Хичій наголосила, що репутація Росії в Канаді настільки зіпсована, що багато ЗМІ не хочуть брати від неї матеріали.

«Натомість росіяни купують платну рекламу. Варто бути обачними щодо цього. Як показала ситуація в США, уваги потребують і соціальні мережі. Щоразу, як у канадських ЗМІ з’являється прихильна до України стаття, набігають тролі й критикують її», — зазначила вона.

Також Олександра Хичій нагадала про особисті напади російської пропаганди на Христю Фріланд — міністерку закордонних справ Канади, мати якої була українкою за походженням.

«В січні вийшов ганебний репортаж Кісельова, спрямований проти канадських політиків українського походження. Варто очікувати загострення цього напередодні виборів», — сказала пані Хичій.

Нагадаємо, у лютому парламентарі Канади викликали Цукерберга на міжнародні слухання з дезінформації.
