У листопаді минулого року президент Сполучених Штатів Дональд Трамп та держсекретар Рекс Тіллерсон здійснили тур країнами Азії. Під час одного з прийомів у Китаї, чиновникам подали тарелі із зів’ялим листям салату у салаті "Цезар".

Дональд Трамп переймався, що страва, якої не торкались, може образити китайців, тому він наказав Тіллерсону: "Рекс, їж салат”.

Держсекретар посміявся з такого зауваження, однак цей момент проілюстрував незручні відносини між Трампом і Тіллерсоном.
