В Новосибирском государственном университете архитектуры и дизайна при помощи ткани прикрыли античные статуи обнаженных женщин и мужчин в канун визита делегации РПЦ. Как передает PRпортал, об этом пишет «Meduza». В том числе, на мероприятие «Новосибирск — город безграничных возможностей», местом проведения которого стало здание ВУЗа, ожидалось прибытие священников РПЦ. Чтобы «не ранить чувства» священнослужителей, сотрудники учебного заведения решили «одеть» статуи, стоящие в фойе первого этажа. 

По информации пресс-службы ВУЗа, после мероприятия статуи вернули в их прежний вид. Вместе с тем, в учебном заведении не смогли пояснить, для чего статуи закрывали тканью.

Стоит отметить, что один из участников делегации РПЦ, настоятель Покровского храма протоиерей Александр Матрук выступил в поддержку решения завесить статуи: «Ничего не должно смущать человека». При этом пресс-служба РПЦ заявила, что руководство ВУЗа перестаралось.
