Рано утром в среду Уэст написал в своем аккаунте, что пытается развестись со своей женой, звездой реалити-шоу Ким Кардашьян. Однако несколькими минутами позже музыкант удалил сообщение.

«Я пытался развестись с тех пор, как Ким встретилась с Миком (рэпер Meek Mill) в Warldolf по поводу тюремной реформы», — гласил твит Уэста.

Твит о разводе с Кардашьян появился примерно через день после того, как Уэст опубликовал в Twitter серию других странных сообщений, в которых обращался в супруге и своей теще Крис Дженнер. Рэпер писал, что Ким и Крис хотят «запереть» его. Позже он также удалил все эти твиты.

В воскресенье Канье провел предвыборный митинг в Северном Чарльстоне, штат Южная Каролина, где расплакался, рассказывая об абортах. «Даже если моя жена захочет развестись со мной после этой речи, она дала жизнь Норт, даже когда я этого не хотел. Она встала и защитила этого ребенка», — заявил он, рыдая.

Ранее СМИ сообщали, что его желание стать президентом США связано с маниакальным эпизодом биполярного расстройства, диагностированного у Канье Уэста еще в 2018 году.
