Під час прямого ефіру на телеканалі BBC, коли інтерв'ю було в самому розпалі, в кадрі з'явився павук. Ролик з подією був опублікований на Twitter-сторінці телеканалу.

Інцидент стався, коли співробітник телеканал брав інтерв'ю у міського радника Грехема Кемпбелла. Незважаючи на вторгнення непрошеного гостя, Кемпбелл не показав, що щось відбувається.

Промова радника була присвячена рішенню Університету Глазго виплатити 20 мільйонів фунтів стерлінгів як компенсацію за зв'язки навчального закладу з работоргівлею в минулому.

Ведучий висловив жаль, що комаха з'явилася в кадрі, проте запевнив телеглядачів, що з нею нічого не можна було зробити.
