Президент Украины Владимир Зеленский в День скорби и памяти жертв войны в Украине заявил, что Вторая мировая война ворвалась в нашу страну 22 июня 1941 года.

Об этом сообщила пресс-служба Администрации Президента.

Так, Зеленский напомнил, что рано утром 22 июня 1941 года произошла бомбардировка Киева.

"Вторая мировая ворвалась в наш дом и с тех пор охватила всю территорию Украины. Коснулась каждой семьи, каждой человеческой судьбы. Мы должны помнить те страшные годы, подвиг тех, кто защищал нашу страну. Война приносит только кровь, горе и страдания. Должны делать все, чтобы она не стала для следующих поколений привычным явлением жизни", – отметил он.

Стоит отметить, что Украина вступила во Вторую мировую 1 сентября 1939 года, а 22 июня 1941 года началась Великая отечественная война.
