Неправительственная организация Cromosomos открыла фиктивный магазин, где продаются шокирующие антисанитарные средства гигиены, использующиеся во время менструации в бедных странах: листья, макулатура, экскременты коров или набивка для подушек.

Отсутствие средств личной гигиены во время менструации до сих пор является бедствием, затрагивающим миллионы женщин по всему миру, и, к сожалению, этой проблеме уделяют не так много внимания, как она заслуживает. Многие девушки и женщины в этот период не имеют достаточно финансовых ресурсов, чтобы запастись тампонами и прокладками. А девочки вынуждены прогуливать школу из-за отсутствия средств гигиены.

По случаю Всемирного дня менструальной гигиены неправительственная организация Cromosomos открыла Frambuexa - фиктивный онлайн-магазин, в котором продаются удивительно антисанитарные, но на 100% реальные средства гигиены во время менструации: листья, макулатура, коровьи экскременты или набивка для подушек. Этот уникальный магазин призван привлечь внимание общественности к этой проблеме и помочь собрать средства.
