У зіркового російського хокеїста Євгена Малкіна знайшли американський паспорт

З’ясувалося, що форвард клубу Національної хокейної ліги "Піттсбург Пінгвінз" і збірної Росії з хокею Євген Малкін отримав американський паспорт і має подвійне громадянство.

Про американський паспорт Малкіна заявив юрист Дмитро Мачихін, який займався супроводом блокчейн-стартапу Mark.space, в який Малкін вклав $4 млн.

Пізніше Малкін підтвердив, що має громадянство США.

"США - мій другий дім. Я тут 13 років. Моя дружина тут. Мені не подобається, коли США протистоять Росії. У нас в Росії є свої закони, згідно з якими можна мати два паспорти, і в цьому немає нічого поганого", - сказав Малкін, якого у Росії розкритикували за наявність американського громадянства.

33-річний Євген Малкін є одним із найкращих російських хокеїстів у історії. Форвард тричі вигравав Кубок Стенлі та двічі ставав чемпіоном світу.
