1 січня, у селі Піщане Кременчуцького району на Полтавщині активісти, серед яких були і представники "Правого сектора", завалили пам'ятник Леніну.

Через Леніна сталася бійка між активістом та мешканцем села.

Представники місцевої влади та сільські мешканці виступали проти повалення пам'ятника - хотіли демонтувати його організовано.

На шию Леніну накинули мотузку і за командою тягнули. Пам'ятник почав падати під вигуки: "Ура!". Проте "завис" у повітрі – повністю впасти йому одразу не дала залізна арматура, якою Ленін був прикріплений до постаменту. Пам'ятник Леніну в Піщаному встановили майже півстоліття тому, у 1967 році.
