В труні і в масці знайшли чоловіка поліцейські, які приїхали на виклик до нього додому. Сусіди повідомили, що міський голова запросив друзів і випиває з ними, чим порушує карантин.
Коли офіцери прибули на місце, їхньому подиву не було меж. Посеред кімнати відкрита труна, в ній – мер, від якого тхне алкоголем. А у шафах сховалися його почарківці. Зрештою всіх затримали й оштрафували.
За словами місцевих, глава округу не сприймає ситуацію з коронавірусів всерйоз і не приймає належних заходів для боротьби з інфекцією. Так, з 54 днів карантину Торрес перебував в Тантаре всього вісім днів. При цьому сам чиновник відкидає ці звинувачення.
