Председательствующий в президиуме Боснии и Герцеговины Милорад Додик подарил министру иностранных дел РФ Сергею Лаврову 300-летнюю позолоченную икону из Луганска.

На украинское происхождение иконы обратило внимание агентство СРНА. На тыльной стороне иконы есть восковая печать с надписью УССР.

Додик передал икону на встрече 14 декабря во время визита Лаврова в Боснию и Герцеговину.

Как сообщает Клиx.ба, в связи с этим посольство Украины в Боснии и Герцеговине обратилось в Министерство иностранных дел страны с требованием предоставить подробную информацию о том, как икона, которая является частью культурного наследия Украины, оказалась в Боснии и Герцеговине.

В письме украинские дипломаты подчеркивают, что Луганск временно находится под оккупацией РФ, и непредоставление информации об иконе означало бы поддержку агрессивной политики и военных действий РФ против Украины.
