Вибори проходять на сайті whoistheking.be. Користувачам нагадують, що 21 липня 2013 року бельгійським монархом став Філіп, а 19 травня 2017 року "про свій прихід у Бельгії оголосив Burger King". "Два королі, одна корона, хто правитиме?", - запитує мережа у своїх користувачів і пропонує проголосувати за Філіпа або за Бургер Кінга.

При цьому, якщо вибрати правлячого монарха, сайт запитує: "Ви впевнені? Не він посмажить вам картоплю-фрі".

Якщо відповісти "так", то постає питання: "чи впевнені ви, що ви впевнені?" і кнопка "так" стає значно меншою, ніж кнопка "ні".

Представник бельгійської королівської сім'ї П'єр Емманюель де Бо заявив, що використання зображення короля має бути схвалено монархом, але у нього дозволу не питали.
 
"Ми не схвалюємо такий підхід. Оскільки це робиться для комерційних цілей, ми б не дали дозволу", - сказав він.

На сайті Burger King використовує мультиплікаційне зображення Філіпа.
