19 мая Верховная Рада Украины изменила название города Днепропетровска в Днепр (название области на данный момент не подлежит изменению). Постановление было зарегистрировано в феврале 2016 года.

Иосиф Кобзон в своем интервью раскритиковал Коломойского: «Олигарх, который захватил город, как еврей, не там сделал обрезание». Помимо этого, депутат Государственной думы России не побоялся назвать Игоря Коломойского «придурком».

Кобзон также отметил, что не понимает логики в переименовании Днепропетровска в Днепр: «Лучше бы уже переименовали в Екатеринослав, как он назывался до революции».

Напомним, что Коломойский покинул должность председателя облгосадминистрации в конце марта 2015 года, а его по-прежнему считают куратором и хозяином города.
