Керівник китайської фірми Ляо Гаомінг мав возити туристів у зону відчуження Чорнобильської АЕС, а замість цього показував їм Челябінськ.

Гід розповідав гостям уральського міста, що Чорнобиль і Прип'ять змогли усунути частину катастрофи після вибуху, тому місто знову заселене й знову може функціонувати, пише "ВКурсе".

Але повністю ліквідувати наслідки аварії не вдалося, тому радіація на лічильнику Гейгера у деяких місцях Челябінська порівнянна з українським містом. Це було для туристів вагомою підставою вірити в те, що вони дійсно в Чорнобилі.

Виявив шахрайство глава міністерства енергетики Китаю Ля Мінгдунь. Він купив собі та своїй родині путівки у Чорнобиль. Чиновник вже був у цьому місті у 80-их роках і зміг легко відрізнити міста одне від одного.
