Патріарх Кирил на "Мерседесі" з мигалкою і кортежем поліції провіз вулицями Москви "чудотворну ікону" і молився про позбавлення від коронавірусу.

Про це повідомляє 

За інформацією видання, це відбувалося вдень 3 квітня. В руках глави РПЦ була ікона Богоматері "Розчулення", яку віруючі вважають чудотворною.

Пряму трансляцію того, що відбувається, вели деякі федеральні телеканали. На каналі "Спас" у цей час рядком, що біжить в нижній частині екрану, показували молитву проти коронавірусу, яку РПЦ затвердила 22 березня.

Приблизно тоді ж на сайті РПЦ було опубліковано послання, в якому Кирил закликав віруючих і служителів "посилити молитву до Господа про огорожу людей від шкідливої пошесті".
