Каньє Вест у 2018 році випустив альбом під назвою Ye, і тоді ж почав так підписуватися у соцмережах. Він казав, що Є - це не просто частина його імені Каньє, але слово з Біблії.

44-річний співак Є знаходиться в процесі розлучення з Кім Карданшьян Вест, яка вирішила зберегти чоловікове прізвище. Четверо дітей пари також мають прізвище Вест.
