Кандидат-мажоритарник по округу №89 (центр - Снятин) Михайло Шатрук , готуючи свою передвиборчу програму, вирішив не покладатися лише на власні сили. Як з’ясувала ОПОРА, вступ до своєї програми Шатрук, який є діючим головою Косівської районної ради, переписав із підручника з політології.
Кандидат скористався працею авторів підручника «Політологія: наука про політику» Горлач М.І. та Кремень В.Г. До прикладу, запозичивши речення: «Особливості геополітичного становища України визначили її складну долю, поєднану з постійною визвольною боротьбою українського народу та наполегливими спробами самоідентифікуватися в мінливому європейському середовищі. ХХ ст. стало доленосним – Україна здобула незалежність і стала активно стверджуватися у світі».
Книга розрахована для викладачів і студентів вищих навчальних закладів, а тепер, як з’ясувалося -- ще й для пересічних виборців Снятинського, Верховинського та Косівського районів, які входять в межі виборчого округу №89.
