Министр сельского хозяйства, продовольствия и окружающей среды Великобритании Майкл Гоув заявил о том, что много лет назад употреблял запрещенные препараты. Как сообщает PRпортал со ссылкой на Daily mail, по словам министра, он действительно пробовал наркотики, но это было в молодости. 

«Я несколько раз принимал наркотики на нескольких светских мероприятиях, состоявшихся больше 20 лет назад. В то время я был молодым журналистом. Это была ошибка. Я оглядываюсь назад и понимаю, что лучше бы не делал этого», - заявил министр. Нужно отметить, что Майкл Гоув является одним из кандидатов на должность премьер-министра Великобритании. Журналисты издания позднее отметили, что политик несколько раз употреблял кокаин. Это открытая информация, которую можно найти в книге британского журналиста Оуэна Беннета. Его произведение называется «Майл Гоув: человек, который спешит».

Напомним, что свою карьеру Гоув начинал с журналиста. Много лет он работал в ведущих изданиях в Великобритании, позднее устроился на телевидение. В 2005 году его избрали в Палату общин, а в 2010 году он стал министром.
