Помилку побачив мешканець Вашингтона в місцевому магазині IKEA, він опублікував фото із мапою без Нової Зеландії на форумі Reddit, пише ВВС.

Інший користувач пожартував над цим інцидентом: «Цікаво, вони збираються продавати ці мапи в новому магазині Окленда (місто в Новій Зеландії — ред.)?».

У коментарі BBC представник IKEA заявив, що компанія вибачилась перед офіційним Веллінгтоном.

«IKEA несе відповідальність за правильну та сумісну інформацію на своїх продуктах. Ми бачимо, що зазнали невдачі щодо мапи світу із серії Björksta. Ми вживаємо заходів, на сьогодні товар відкликають з наших магазинів», — сказав він.
