Дослідники з Медичної школи Леонарда Міллера в Університеті Майамі за допомогою точкової ліпосакції навчилися надавати жировій тканині на животі анатомічну подібність до розвинених м'язів преса
 

Про це йдеться у Тhe Journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Метод заснований на ліпосакції - процесі, під час якого жир буквально відсмоктується з тіла людини за допомогою пластикової трубки і електронасоса. Пластичний хірург використовує ті ж інструменти для того, щоб точково видалити жир і підкреслити тим самим природні лінії м'язів живота.

В залежності від уподобань пацієнта, "жировий прес" може бути адаптований для більш м'якого живота або, навпаки, виділяти всі анатомічні подробиці.

Тим не менш, лікарі пояснили, що людям, які не займаються в тренажерному залі, ця процедура не допоможе перетворитися на модель за один день.

У дослідженні брали участь 50 пацієнтів (26 чоловіків і 24 жінки, середній вік - 26 років), які вже були в непоганій фізичній формі завдяки здоровому харчуванню та регулярним фізичним вправам. Вони звернулися в клініку тому, що бажали позбутися від небажаних відкладень жирової тканини на животі, які не виходило "скинути" під час тренувань.

Після подібної операції пацієнтам необхідно регулярно спостерігатися у лікаря і вести здоровий спосіб життя, включно із фізичними навантаженнями, щоб жирові складки не обвисли і не стали в'ялими.
