Первый выставочный зал LiveWire откроется в Калифорнии, также будет «виртуальная» штаб-квартира с центрами в Кремниевой долине и Милуоки.
Harley Davidson представила первый электрический мотоцикл в 2018 году, он стоил $29 799 (около 2,21 млн рублей). Производство было запущено в 2019 году. Тогда у дилеров возникли проблемы с продажами электроциклов из-за высокой цены, пишет Reuters.
Как сообщает TechCrunch, годовая выручка Harley Davidson упала почти на 24% в 2020 году по сравнению с предыдущим годом. Летом 2020 года компания сократила 700 рабочих мест.
Harley Davidson разработала пятилетний стратегический план «Hardwire» и планирует продолжать инвестиции в рынок электроэнергии. В октябре 2020 года компания представила электровелосипеды Serial 1 Cycle.
