Міністр закордонних справ Великобританії Борис Джонсон назвав Африку "країною", пише Кореспондент.

Виступаючи з промовою, Джонсон високо оцінив роль Сполученого Королівства в міжнародних справах, заявивши, що британські цінності "продовжують піднімати світ з убогості".

На думку міністра, Африка могла б отримати вигоду від прийняття британських цінностей в більшому обсязі, це вберегло б континент від скочування до авторитаризму.

"Середня тривалість життя в Африці дивним чином зросла, коли країна увійшла в світову економічну систему", - заявив він, допустивши застереження.
