Голова комітету зі свободи слова Нестор Шуфрич не зміг назвати номери статей ККУ, які захищають журналістів.

«Номери зараз не згадаю. Але вже рази чотири підписував листи щодо сприяння в розслідуванні саме цих статей», – сказав Шуфрич, відповідаючи на запитання, чи може він назвати номери статей у програмі Bihus.Info.

На уточнювальне запитання, що передбачають статті із захисту журналістів, голова комітету теж не дав чіткої відповіді. Шуфрич тільки зауважив, що в статті щонайменше дві частини й максимальне покарання за втручання у журналістську діяльність до 7-8 років.

У контексті розмови Шуфрич заявив про необхідність змінювати законодавство, щоб правоохоронці несли посилену відповідальність у разі неналежного розслідування злочинів проти журналістів.
