Офіціант італійського ресторану попросив місцевого мера залишити заклад, бо той прийшов на вечерю у шортах 

Про це повідомляє BBC.

"Оскільки це була не офіційна вечеря, а зустріч із близькими друзями, я вирішив одягнутися повсякденно", - пояснив мер міста В'яреджо Джорджіо Гінгаро.

За його словами, він сидів за столиком на терасі разом із друзями, коли до нього підійшов офіціант.

"Виглядаючи збентежено, він сказав, що оскільки я не одягнутий у штани, я не можу в них залишитися", -  повідомив мер.

Врешті-решт він повечеряв із друзями в іншому місці, але данний інцидент його засмутив. Він визнав, що відчув деяке приниження.

В свою чергу, представник ресторану заявив, що попередження про дрес-код були біля входу до ресторану і біля сходів, тому навіть мер міста мав їх побачити. Зокрема за цими правилами, у ресторані після 7 вечора слід бути вбраним у штани.

"Мені прикро за цей випадок, але сподіваюся, ми зможемо прояснити цей інцидент із мером, якому я збираюся подарувати картку постійного члена", - сказав представник закладу.
