До Держдуми внесений законопроект, що зобов'язує охочих вступити в шлюб при подачі заяви в ЗАГС надавати довідку з результатами аналізу на ВІЛ-інфекцію, повідомляє УНІАН

Ініціатором законопроекту є депутат Держдуми від Чечні, єдинорос Магомед Селімханов.

На думку автора, результати аналізів повинні надаватися одночасно з подачею заяви.

Ініціатори законопроекту вважають, що введення такої вимоги до наречених буде сприяти виявленню нових прихованих ВІЛ-інфікованих та своєчасного надання їм необхідної медичної допомоги. Також, як сподіваються автори законопроекту, такі заходи сприятимуть зниженню числа інфікованих новонароджених.

Як зазначив Селімханов, число ВІЛ-інфікованих в першому кварталі 2015 року збільшилося на 10% у порівнянні з аналогічним періодом минулого року. У серпні з ідеєю введення обов'язкового тестування на ВІЛ перед весіллям підтримала головний державний санітарний лікар Росії Анна Попова.
