Фотография сыра помогла полиции Ливерпуля задержать 39-летнего наркоторговца Карла Стюарта.

Как сообщает The Guardian, вычислить преступника удалось по отпечаткам пальцев, «снятых» со снимка.

Чтобы поймать Стюарта, полиция сначала взломала его аккаунт в криптомессенджере EncroChat — через эту площадку драгдилер продавал наркотики.

 

Полицейские изучили переписку преступника и обнаружили фото — на нем Стюарт держит кусок сыра с голубой плесенью «Стилтон».

Криминалисты увеличили разрешение фото и так получили отпечатки пальцев. Стюарт признал вину в преступлениях, его приговорили к 13 с половиной годам тюремного заключения.
