Чеченські боксери визнали героїню роману Толстого нечистою силою і відмовилися виходити на ринг

Три боксери з Чечні відмовилися виступати на міжнародному турнірі боксерського шоу "Гладіатор" через ілюстрацію фантастичного роману Олексія Толстого "Аеліта".

Спортсмени Вісхан Мурзабеков, Мансур Юсупов, Апті Давтаев, їх тренери та асистенти покинули місце проведення змагань після того, як побачили на стінах зображення героїні роману, гуманоїда Аеліти. Вони визнали літературний персонаж "нечистою силою" і вирішили, що не будуть виступати там, де присутні такі малюнки.

За словами організаторів, спортсмени залишили майданчик настільки швидко, що їм не встигли пояснити справжнє значення зображень.
