Я беру декретну відпустку по догляду за країною – заявила Ольга Богомолець. Кандидат у Президенти України Ольга Богомолець не вважає за можливе працювати лікарем у країні, де є люди, що мають право віддати наказ розстрілювати мирних громадян у центрі міста. На цьому вона наголосила під час спілкування з херсонськими ЗМІ після зустрічі з військовими в селі Чорнобаївка. «Коли 20 лютого в мене на руках від пострілів снайперів один за одним померли 13 молодих хлопців, зрозуміла – не можу працювати лікарем у такій країні», – зауважила О.Богомолець.

Саме тому Ольга Богомолець прийняла рішення балотуватися на посаду Президента, щоб відбулася зміна самої системи, а не зміна облич у системі.

О.Богомолець наголосила, що розраховує на підтримку людей, які їй довіряють. За її словами, вона не очікує, що буде легко перемогти, проте звикла долати труднощі.

«У мене немає сумніву – я зможу витримати і не зламаюся під стару систему. Я хочу разом із вами жити у країні, де створені робочі місця, працює економіка, котра забезпечує гідну заробітну плату та пенсію, де не потрібно боятися влади, а громадяни довіряють один одному».

«Я беру декретну відпустку по догляду за країною. Після того як разом збудуємо громадянське суспільство, я з радістю продовжу виконувати клятву Гіппократа», - наголосила Ольга Богомолець.
